About Me

Amanda Jaggers is a venture capitalist, startup investor, and compassionate capitalist in New Braunfels, Texas. Currently, Jaggers works as a member of a local private equity team and oversees a number of business investments in and throughout the region.

As of 2021, Jaggers owns and manages several key properties in the local community, including buildings on Gruene Parkway, Natures Way and Mulberry Avenue, respectively.

Childhood & Academics

Venture Capitalist Amanda Jaggers has been a Texas local much of her life. Originally from Austin, Texas, Jaggers completed her kindergarten through eighth-grade years at a school in San Marcos, Texas, before relocating to the small town of Lexington. Jaggers’ completed high school in Lexington in 2003, graduating as one of only 72 students her senior year.

Shortly after high school, Jaggers began her student career at Texas Tech University (TTU), becoming the first of her high school senior class to attend a Division 1 institution. Initially a student of civil engineering, Jaggers changed her study focus several times over the next few years, switching to finance, real estate, and eventually biology before transferring to Texas A&M University in College Station in 2005.

Currently a venture capitalist, Amanda Jaggers would go on to complete her academic career at A&M, where she earned her B.S. in Biology in 2007.

Career, Family & a Return to TX

After college, Jaggers began a successful career in medical device sales at the Houston-based ConMed Linvatec. Jaggers’s star rose so fast, in fact, that she became the company’s first Sports Medicine Representative for its then-new orthopedic products line.

Jaggers married in August 2008 and started a family with her husband just a year later. It wasn’t long before Jaggers dedicated herself to the care of four children (now aged 12, 10, 7, and 5).

Two years later, Amanda Jaggers and family moved to Denver, Colorado, though they later returned to the Lone Star State. In 2018, Jaggers relocated to New Braunfels, Texas, where she soon became a startup investor and venture capitalist.
